ReDesignEdu is a 3-day experience (June 21 - June 23) where practicing teachers learn Design Thinking by doing Design Thinking. Over the course of the workshop, you will learn to think and act as a designer to solve problems in key areas of education. Armed with a new mindset, you’ll be ready to incorporate Design Thinking into projects that will challenge your students to empathize with others and apply their knowledge and skills to solve real world problems.
This is not your typical workshop - come ready to get busy and hands on! In small groups you’ll tackle “wicked problems” through Design Thinking. Coupled with the challenge, you’ll learn key aspects of the process through collaboration, communication, and reflection.
Date: Wednesday, June 21 – Friday, June 23, 2017
Cost: $1,200 per participants (includes all workshop materials, morning refreshments each day, lunch each day, and dinner at the Cranbrook Institute of Science on Wednesday evening).
